General Design

» How soon can I expect to see a draft of the design?

Most designs will have a draft uploaded to your account within 24 hours if you choose this option. For bigger projects, such as a website design, it may take up to a week.

» Why should I choose Designs In A Day for my design solutions over the thousands of other design companies out there?

Quite simply, we're here for you. Our commitment is to your design and we are available for any questions. We have talented, dedicated team who can meet your specific needs within 24 hours.

» How many revisions do you allow per design?

We will provide the first 3 revisions for free. There will be a charge of $25 for each additional revision, or $50 for three additional revisions.

» What if you don't get my design/ad to me in 24 hours?

If you have chosen the One Business Day option and our design is even one minute late for any reason, we will discount the price to our two-day rate, no questions asked.

» Can you beat this price I found for _______ ?

We can usually beat any price by 10%. Just give us a call or Contact Us here!

Email Ad Design

» Why should I get my email ad professionally designed?

A well-designed ad will catch the recipient's attention and inspire confidence in your product/services. But it has to be built with spam filters in mind. When we work on an email ad, our ultimate goal is to design an attractive, concise ad, optimized for the email realm. We do this by striking a tender balance between the text and image ratio, including text outside of images whenever possible, using alternative text tags, and avoiding common spam phrases. We also make sure to design ads that will display consistently regardless of what email client your recipients use.

» I have no idea how I want my ad to look. Can you help?

Yes! We just need a few key pieces of information to get going on your design. If you choose to use our services, we’ll send a few questions for you to answer to give us the direction we need -- like the main goal of your ad, the main product or service you are highlighting, any particular phrases or images you want included, etc.

» I have a very clear vision for my ad. Will that work?

Yes! Provide us with all the information or examples you have and we’ll create just what you’re looking for. Keep in mind, however, that our ultimate goal is to design an ad that is specifically optimized for email marketing, so your directions may not be followed precisely.

» How soon can I expect to see a draft of the design?

We’ll have your ad back to you within 1 business day of your payment processing.

» How many revisions do you allow per design?

We will provide the first 3 rounds of revisions for free. Most of our clients normally are totally satisfied after one or two small revisions. But if you need any additional revisions after that, there will be a charge of $25 for the 4th revision. Or you can purchase 3 additional revisions for $50. We try to have revisions back within 1 business day, but each revision can take up to 2 business days, depending on our scheduling demands.

» Is the ad mine to keep once it’s complete?

Yes, the ad is yours! Use it as often as you’d like, wherever you’d like.

» Will I be able to adjust my ad in the future?

Yes, as long as you have access to an html editor, you’ll be able to adjust the text of your ad or swap out images to freshen up your ad.

Logo Design

» I have an existing logo design that our customers know, but it's a little old. Can Designs In A Day freshen it up and give it a new edge but make it still recognizable for our customers?

Yes. In fact, this is one of the projects we enjoy most. We would love to help you reinvigorate your logo!

» Do you have any sample logos you can show me?

» How many logo designs can I choose from?

As with our other designs, we will create three custom logos for you to choose from. From there we will refine the design to fit your needs.

Website Banners

» What size website banners can you make?

Whatever size banner you need! Please see our banner sizing chart here.

» What do you recommend putting in my banner ad?

It depends on what you are advertising. A distinct call to action and quality ad copy are essential elements. Many sites suggest the use of animation, which can be useful, but you must mind the context and keep the ad tasteful and relevant to the website and subject matter of the ad. Peel-Away Ads

» Will a peel-away ad affect my web page or or how my website functions?

No! A peel-away ad is simply a different way to grab a visitor's attention and entice him or her to click. They do not alter the functionality of the website in any way.

» I'm not sure exactly what kind of website I need/my website doesn't fall into any of the categories listed on your site?

» I've got a website already, but I just need you to make a couple of changes. Can you do that?

Absolutely. Just let us know what you'd like done and we will give you a custom quote.

» My website needs help but I don't really know where to start. Can you help me determine what I need to change?

We're here to help and we are always happy to take a look at your site and give you a free evaluation. We are able to make any changes you might need. If a more in-depth analysis of your website is in order, we may refer you to our parent company, Thrive Marketing Group to help with any long-term consulting needs.

Printing Services

» Can you give me as good a price as the big, online printing companies?

Our prices are very competitive and in many cases we can provide a better price. Our services provide both a completely custom design (not a template-based design) and the benefit of rapid turnaround.

» Do you do mix-match quotes for partial color and partial black and white print jobs?

Yes. Just let us know your specific needs and we will get you a quote back right away.

» How will my print work be delivered/can I opt for expedited delivery?

Standard delivery service is via US First Class mail, but you have the option of choosing to upgrade via UPS or FedEx for an additional fee. (Ask about our rapid design/print packages with Overnight or 2-Day delivery included).
